Whether you have been in your home for years or are just moving in, decorating a home can be challenging. You want to find pieces that accentuate the positives in your home and hide the negatives. You can hide a weird corner with an artificial tree or corner piece of furniture. COLOR

Your color choices do not have to be the same in each room, but should fall into the same color tones. If you prefer bold colors or earth tones, carry them throughout your home. It will make you feel as if each room flows together instead of making your home look choppy and unappealing. You don’t need each piece of wood to be the exact same shade, but you want to make sure they blend. Stick with either light to medium shades or medium to dark.  Having light in one area of a room and dark in another may make your home look as if you put pieces together that aren’t suppose to coincide.
