Temple Terrace was named after the sweet Temple Oranges that Florida is famous for.
With a population of only 24,000 people, Temple Terrace is considered one of the smaller cities, yet
has so much to offer.
The community is known for the scenic Hillsborough River, along with
rolling landscapes and majestic shade trees. It has the most grand live
oak trees of any community in central Florida. Temple Terrace has a unique
Tampa real
estate market in that homes are relatively inexpensive but, because of the large
student population from nearby University of South Florida, rent prices are
quite high. Additionally, in recent months, several of the apartment complexes
have been converted to condos. Investment opportunity is prime in Temple
Terrace. And, it is a nice place to live if you want to escape the hustle and
bustle of the city life and relax under your own mature shade tree.
