Parks and Recreation

South Pasadena's small size also compensates for four main parks and four small “mini” parks within its city limits. The four mini parks include 14th Avenue Park, Huffman Way Park, Palm Island Park, and Island Drive Park. Two of the four main parks are “habitat” parks where you can visit a butterfly garden, see terns nesting on the shoreline, and enjoy the tropical foliage. At Galatea Park you can also view some of Florida's natural foliage as well as a Greek statue that attracts all South Pasadena residents and visitors.

south pasadena park Duryea Park is a park where South Pasadena's residents and visitors can enjoy a round of tennis, a cookout with friends and family and a playground for their children. Directly across the street is the Greek statue at Galatea Park surrounded by beautiful landscaping.
