features 29 acres of softball fields, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, picnic
shelter and community center that is open for the enjoyment of Odessa residents
and visitors.
Lake Rogers Park is found on the Hillsborough County side of Odessa. This beautiful,
wide open nature park is a joint venture between Hillsborough County and the City of

allowing riders to view some of the park's wildlife residents. Other features this park offers are
picnic shelters, picnic tables, and barbecue grills, allowing visitors to take a break and enjoy
a snack while experiencing the outdoors. Other activities to enjoy while visiting Lake Rogers
Park are nature trails, canoeing, fishing, and group camping.

Travel through Odessa and you will find what most of the residents that live here love
about the place they call home...land and open space. You won't find large shopping
malls or a grocery store on every corner, but you will find many small businesses that
are owned by residents such as nurseries and plant farms, small furniture shops, feed
stores, and even a hardware store. However, this isn't a burden to those who call Odessa,
Florida home. Convenience is right around the corner and is not something that this small
town lacks. Less than 5 minutes north of the Odessa city limit in Hillsborough County is
the Westfield Citrus Park Mall that offers an abundance of shopping choices within the
mall and around the outskirts. Situated around Citrus Park Mall you will find a business for
every need including grocery stores, super discount centers, home improvement warehouses,
and plenty of restaurants. This also holds true to the Pasco County side of Odessa with a
large shopping plaza only 5 minutes west on SR 54 that includes discount clothing stores,
more super discount centers (both east and west on 54) and more restaurants. Shopping in
Odessa may not be something you can view from your backyard, but is definitely not a
far distance away.
