New Port Richey Annual Events
The Chasco Fiesta is an eleven day event that occurs each year in New Port Richey, Florida.
This traditional festival honoring Native Americans began in 1922 and has been held annually
since 1947. This festival includes two parades. A decorated boat parade featuring various
types of watercraft and one of the largest street parades in the area with local school bands
and beautifully decorated floats. After the parade the festivities continue with the Coronation Ball,
a beef barbeque that has held world records, entertainment, concerts, a midway, arts and crafts
festivals, 5K and 10K runs, as well as golf and softball tournaments. There is also a flea market
and antique show. There is definitely something for all ages, and best of all, most activities are
free! This is an event not to be missed when you own property in or near
New Port Richey Real Estate.
