Important MLS Information for Home Buyers
When searching for a home, you want to be sure that you are seeing ALL of the listings in the Tampa Bay area, not just those that the agent wants you to see. Just because a website allows you to search for "Clearwater" or "Palm Harbor" for homes doesn't mean it is offering up all the listings that there are. Here's a quick way to tell. Below are two listings that are in the Clearwater area. Notice the difference in the "Property Details" number (otherwise known as MLS Number). One begins with a 7 and the other one begins with a 2. What's the difference? A lot! Agents who are licensed in the Pinellas County area have MLS listings that begin with a 7. Agents who are licensed in the Hillsborough County area have MLS listings that begin with a 2. Not all websites bring you ALL the listings.
