Largo Real Estate

The early pioneer families referred to Largo as their "Pinellas Citrus City" due to the fact that its extensive oranglargo real estatee groves provided their livelihood. It was established as the railroad's mid point between Clearwater and St. Petersburg in 1888. Many years ago the only available Largo Florida real estate was undeveloped orange groves. Now, Largo real estate is emerging as a valuable place to live in comparison with many other areas of the Tampa Bay area. Today, Largo covers about 14.1 square miles and has enjoyed rapid growth, with great values, and a population of more than 68,500. Largo is a quiet, largely residential community with friendly stores and shops, beautiful parks and recreational facilities, and diverse neighborhoods. Largo is a refreshing city compared to other areas around Tampa. Heritage Village in Largo is the area's open-air historical village containing many historic buildings. Exhibitions are regularly held here. Several special events are held at the park including the Country Jubilee in October.  Visit our new Largo FL Real Estate  website.

The Cultural Center is one of the Largo's premier entertainment facilities, the Eight O'Clock Theatre, the Children's Series by Stages Production, Suncoast Singers, and many other local, national, and international stars each year. Dedicated to providing quality entertainment at reasonable prices, the Cultural Center has become the destination for arts and entertainment. Overlooking beautiful Largo Central Park, the Center is also the perfect setting to hold wedding receptions, meetings, and social events.   Visit the City of Largo website for more information.
