The Bay Area Renaissance Festival
in Largo FL welcomes visitors into an enchanted world of wizards
and warriors. For years this annually awaited festival has been held in Largo until 2005
where it moved the magic to Tampa. Even so, it is still close enough to experience the
event that any long time Largo resident would be happy to share a conversation about.
Largo became known for its annual Renaissance Festival where Largo residents and visitors
from all over would come and indulge themselves in the gourmet food and unforgettable
entertainment such as live jousting and the infamous human chess match. Because each
weekend is themed you can visit for one weekend or all of them and be sure to be amazed
with the variety of entertainment you’ll encounter. Children can also enjoy crafts, shows,
magicians, jugglers, and medieval style rides power-driven by humans, not mechanics.

The International Miniature Art Show presented by the Gulf Coast Museum of Art in
Largo
Florida
welcomes artists from all over who enjoy fine painting and sculpture to compete
with their different mediums of art on a smaller scale. Sponsored by the Miniature Art
Society, these amazing works of art are unlike the typical art show variety and are definitely
