Land O' Lakes Overview
Land O Lakes real estate is a growing
Pasco County community that is situated among over 100 lakes, hence the
name "Land O' Lakes". This is a town with many variations of real estate and homes from those well-established
communities to newer gated communities, mobile home parks, and town homes. Whether you

or acreage, Land O' Lakes Real Estate has it all. Both families with children and retirees have made Land O' Lakes

recent years. In fact, this small town made its mark on the map back in the early 1990's when the movie
Edward Scissorhands, starring Johnny Depp, was filmed in a small subdivision called Carpenters Run here in Land O' Lakes.
Since then Land O' Lakes Real Estate has grown significantly with the construction of new roads, subdivisions,
shopping centers, restaurants and even a Starbucks! This small town is a great place to live, yet is
still convenient to major cities such as Tampa and Brandon.
Land O' Lakes Location
Land O' Lakes is located in Central Pasco County near the Pasco / Hillsborough county line. The
short 8 mile distance from "New Tampa" makes shopping, dining and other consumer necessities
within close proximity. Land O' Lakes also runs through I-75 making a trip to downtown Tampa or
Brandon a short trip and Orlando attractions just over an hour away. Another highway that makes
Clearwater and St. Petersburg very convenient is the Suncoast Parkway (Veteran's Expressway)
located within Land O' Lakes. This toll road will also take you to Spring Hill and other communities north
of Land O' Lakes.
